In 2006 Dr. Renta opened an optometrist owned private practice and optical dispensary under the legal structure of a limited liability in her home town of Brentwood, NY. As a bilingual practice in an underserved optometric population it serves both the English and Spanish speaking members of the community. This optometric practice performs eye examinations on all children and adults. We diagnose and manage vision deficits such as: strabismus, refractive error and presbyopia and ocular diseases such as: conjunctivitis, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and cataracts. Patients are able to purchase their glasses and contact lenses, be treated for ocular conditions with therapeutic topical medication, and receive appropriate follow-up care.
